Abstract
Investigation of the saturated vapor above InS, In2S3 and In2S3+In samples and of the superheated vapor has yielded
In2S(g) 2In(g)+1/2S2(g) ΔH°298=98.2±5.0 kcal/moleIn2S2(g) In2S(g)+1/2S2(g) ΔH°298=26.5±6.0 " "InS(g) In(g)+1/2S2(g) ΔH°298=17.4±4.0 " "
Combining these data with D°298(S2)=102.2±2.0 kcal/mole one obtains:
ΔH°298(at,In2S)=149.2±5.5; D°298(InS)=68.4±4.5; ΔH°298(at.In2S2)=226.7±8.0; D°298(dim,InS)=89.9±11.0 kcal/mole.
