The purpose of this investigation has been to measure the thermal Conductivity, specific heat, and linear coefficient of thermal expansion of particular materials.
1. Stainless Steel type 420 ρ = 7.71 g/cc
2. Stainless Steel type 17-4 PH ρ = 7.74 g/cc
3. AM 355 ρ = 7.78 g/cc
4. Crucible HNM ρ = 7.67 g/cc
5. Titanium C110 M ρ = 4.59 g/cc
6. Inco 713C ρ = 9.23 g/cc
7. Haynes Stellite HE 1049 ρ = 8.85 g/cc
8. Kennametal K161B ρ = 5.66 g./cc
9. M 252 (GE-J1500) ρ = 8.22 g/cc
(Solutioned 1950°F, air cooled)
10. Rene 41 (GE-J1610) ρ = 8.08 g/cc
(Solutioned 1975°F, water quenched)
11. Vanadium ρ = 6.05 g/cc
12. Zirconium ρ = 6.49 g/cc
13. Molybdenum Disilicide ρ = 5.80 g/cc
