Abstract
-
The testing and use of ADAPS is demonstrated by performing an analysis with a specified iron bomb (M117) and a representative tactical fighter-bomber aircraft (F4). The demonstration example revealed no appreciable performance difference between the time-invariant and time-invariant and time-varying optimal controllers for the weapon delivery process. The contribution matrix of an iron bomb indicated that the major contributors to the CEP are the velocity and the attitude-state errors at release.
