Abstract
-
The location of faults on open wire transmission lines utilizing the pulse-echo technique is discussed. A storage type oscilloscope and correlation method are descrbed. A method of tesing for transistor leakage current while the device is still incorporated in a circuit was developed. Several techniques for in-circuit testing are suggested. The equipment is capable of measuring in-circuit leakage of one microampere for circuit impedances down to 10 ohms. The breadboard circuitry used to generate wideband quadrature audio signals using Hall elements is described. Quarature signals were observed over the range of 350 to 3500 cycles.
