Abstract
-
The fiber-forming properties of p-bis(bromoacetyl)benzenedithioadipamide polymers of different molecular weights have been determined by melt-. wet-. and dry-spinning methods, and the effects of the spinning method and the polymer molecular weight on the properties of the fibers determined. Films also have been made from p-bis(bromoacetyl)benzene-dithioadipamide polymers of different molecular weights, and their physical properties and resistance to UV and gamma radiation determined and compared with some commercial films.
